Corbin to debut new Zoot line-up at Ford Ironman California 70.3

March 26, 2007 – Vista, California – Zoot Sports, Inc. is pleased to announce a multi-year partnership with second-year pro triathlete Linsey Corbin. Linsey Corbin will race and train in Zoot Sports apparel and swim in the revolutionary new Zenith wetsuit.

"We're very happy to welcome Linsey to the Zoot family. Her extremely competitive nature, dynamic personality and strength of character are well aligned for our brand. Linsey has a charming personality and has simultaneously proved to be lethal on the race-course in her first year as a professional triathlete. We're looking forward to a bright future with Linsey,” commented Eli Carlson, Director of Marketing for Zoot Sports.

Linsey Corbin, formerly Linsey Pickell, has made a big impression in her first season as a full-time professional triathlete. In 2006, Corbin raced the prestigious Wildflower triathlon as an age-grouper and not only finished top among the age group women but had she race pro, would have finished 3rd among the pro field. Corbin’s bike split of 2:36:47 was less than one-minute slower than Natascha Badmann. After Wildflower, Corbin decided to turn pro and went on to win her first race as a pro at the Oliver Half Ironman in Oliver, British Columbia. Corbin continued her success by placing 7th among the pro field at Ironman Coeur D’Alene in June and went on to finish 23rd at the Ironman Hawaii World Championships; despite being hit by an SUV and breaking her collar bone just five-weeks before the race.

“I’m truly honored to be working with a company like Zoot Sports. I’m realizing that in order to race with the best in the world you need to have clothing and products from the best companies in the world and that’s what I found with Zoot”, commented Corbin. “Eli Carlson and the team from Zoot have made me feel so welcome – I hope I can go down to California 70.3 and put on a good performance for them in their own backyard”, said Corbin.

Corbin will kick-off the 2007 season this coming weekend at the Ford Ironman 70.3 in Oceanside, California.
