USPro Tri Team Update: Ending the Season on High Notes!

USPro Tri Professional Triathlon Team closed out the racing season with some additional great results. So congrats to these guys on an amazing season!
Chris Tremonte finished out his season with two west coast ITU races. His solid places at Scott Tinley’s Adventures and the San Francisco Pan Am Cup netted him 3rd overall in the Tri California 5 race series.
Dave Kuendig competed at the Race for Site in his home state of Kentucky, placing 2nd overall. He then finished his year with a strong 17th pro placing, about halfway through the field at the hotly contested San Francisco Pan Am Cup.
John Kenny decided to finish up his season with a half ironman distance race. He competed in the Bassman in his home state of New Jersey, taking 1st overall by a long shot.
Kevin Lisska was still reportedly suffering a bit from a previous bike crash, but threw down some great results anyway! He was 15th pro at the big Longhorn 70.3 half ironman in Texas. This set him up well for an assault on Ironman Florida, where he placed 3rd American in a huge international field.
Daniel Bretscher threw down big results at Longhorn 70.3 and the Clearwater 70.3 World Championships. At Longhorn he swam and biked with the front group, then ran his way to 6th overall and 2nd American. In Clearwater he raced against 50 pro’s from 20 different countries. His first attempt at the race netted him 19th overall, and 4th American (just 20 seconds away from 2nd American!).
Ryan Bates has been hard at work growing the team for 2009. There will be some huge changes in store, so stay tuned!
