About Patrick: Patrick is an endurance sports junkie. His passion for the story behind the story, behind the amazing performances we witness on race day, is what has led to the creation of Endurance Insider. Patrick has been at the intersection of endurance sports and social media since early 2002, when he began coaching and blogging at the same time. His fascination with connecting people and disseminating information via the web led Patrick to walk away from a very successful one-on-one triathlon coaching business to create Endurance Nation. This online community of 400+ triathletes is a powerful example of how everyday athletes can achieve extraordinary results.
